Premier League: Sheffield United vs Brighton & Hove Albion

4:20pm: Teams to be announced at 5pm (GMT+3).

5:00pm: Teams:

Sheffield United: Henderson, Baldock, Basham, Egan, O’Connell, Stevens, Berge, Norwood, Fleck, Sharp, McBurnie.

Brighton: Ryan, Schelotto, Dunk, Webster, Duffy, Burn, Bissouma, Propper, Mooy, Maupay, Murray.

6:00pm: Brighton get us underway at Bramall Lane.

6:02pm: Fleck crosses it in but Sharp drags it wide on the volley.

6:04pm: Egan put a diagonal ball to Baldock who pulls it back for McBurnie but he didn’t catch it properly.

6:07pm: Bissouma fouls Fleck.

6:08pm: Fleck crosses it in but the players heads missed the ball.

6:09pm: Bissouma gets an early yellow after another foul on Fleck.

6:10pm: Norwood crosses it in but good defending from Schelotto.

6:13pm: Schelotto gives away a foul in the Blade’s half.

6:16pm: Fleck crosses it in, looking for McBurnie but good defending from Dunk to head it away.

6:17pm: O’Connell fouls Bissouma. Promising position.

6:17pm: Mooy crosses it in but gets headed into play by the Blades. Bissouma takes it on and shoots but Henderson has it covered.

6:23pm: Propper gets a yellow after stopping McBurnie cynically.

6:26pm: GOAL! 1-0 Blades. Stevens scored a wonderfully hit goal after a neat corner.

6:29pm: Fleck fouls Bissouma.

6:29pm: GOAL! Maupay scored after Mooy’s free kick after a nod from Webster to Maupay. Maupay has now scored after 661 minutes. 1-1.

6:32pm: Ryan collects after a cross from O’Connell.

6:33pm: Fleck has nice foot work but his shot was deflected wide.

6:35pm: Burn passes it to Bissouma who passes it back but it’s Schelotto who shoots wide and it gets a deflection.

6:36pm: Brighton’s first corner looks dangerous with players panicking but Henderson calmly takes the ball on his line.

6:39pm: Great header away after a Sheffield corner.

6:45pm: 2 minutes added time.

6:47pm: HALF-TIME: Sheffield had a good start but it was dampened by the equaliser 3 minutes later. Stevens has been a standout player with his creativity and his goal. He’s been at the centre of most attacks along with Norwood. Maupay has been the standout player for Brighton with him chasing down the ball constantly and he has been good defensively as well as scoring Brighton’s equaliser.

7:02pm: SHEFFIELD UNITED SUBSTITUTION: Sheffield make a half time substitution. Osborn comes on for Stevens.

7:07pm: Mooy passes it to Maupay and he has a shot but it’s deflected out for a corner.

7:08pm: Brighton’s corner is crossed in and Dunk swivels and shoots but it goes over the bar.

7:11pm: Fleck’s shot is dragged wide.

7:14pm: Lovely ball to Fleck who almost shoots but good defending from Duffy.

7:15pm: Great corner from Norwood. O’Connell heads it but Ryan parries it and McBurnie toe pokes it but Ryan saves it bravely.

7:16pm: Fleck fires wide.

7:18pm: Mooy flicks it over the top and Maupay dips it over. Good hit, he’s being adventurous for Brighton.

7:20pm: Great defending by Brighton again.

7:21pm: Dangerous attempt. Ryan leave the ball and Osborn puts it back across the box and Ryan saves it.

7:23pm: Schelotto claims handball but it‘s not given.

7:25pm: Free kick given to Sheffield United.

7:30pm: SHEFFIELD UNITED SUBSTITUTION: Sharp comes off for McGoldrick.

7:31pm: DOUBLE CHANGE FOR BRIGHTON: Connolly on for Murray. Trossard comes on for Schelotto.

7:34pm: Pressure’s on Brighton. Sheffield United are slowly building.

7:37pm: SHEFFIELD UNITED SUBSTITUTION: Berge comes off for Lundstram.

7:42pm: Lundstram goes over the top in a tackle and VAR checks it for Red but not given.

7:44pm: Ryan makes a wonderful save! He’s saved Brighton here.

7:46pm: Free kick for Sheffield United.

7:46pm: Good move from Sheffield United but it goes out for a corner.

7:47pm: 3 minutes added time.

7:48pm: Great defending from Maupay.

7:49pm: BRIGHTON SUBSTITUTION: Maupay comes off for Bernardo.

7:51pm: FULL-TIME: Entertaining game. Hard fought draw for both sides. Sheffield United will come away the happier of the two sides. Fleck is my man of the match. He’s been the centre of creativity and he’s defended when he’s had to. He’s whipped in some great crosses. Maupay played excelletnly for Brighton, defending and attacking well with his goal to equalise.
