41’: GOAL! Lamptey crosses it in and Trossard volleys it towards goal. Pickford saves the shot but drops the ball and Maupay takes advantage of a Pickford mistake swivelling and shooting . 1-1.

44’: Dunk is over the ball for the free kick but his shot went over the bar.
45’: 2 minutes added time.
45’+1: March brings down Coleman in a promising area.
45’+2: GOAL! Rodriguez whips the ball in and Mina meets the ball and puts it into the net. 2-1 Everton.
HALF-TIME: Everton have had a dominant game and they were unlucky when Brighton scored because of the mistake. They have been aggressive and it’s paid off. After Brighton scored, it was more lively and Brighton looked like they had gained confidence however Brighton then conceded. They have conceded both goals in this game from set pieces.

60’: The corner is crossed in and Dunk attacks it but it goes out for another corner.

77’: Trossard has a one-two with Lallana and then shoots but it’s wide.
79’: EVERTON SUBSTITUTIONS: Wallcott replaced Rodriguez.
81’: BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION SUBSTITUTION: Gross replaces Alzate.
82’: Good cross from Bissouma but Dunk couldn’t connect with the ball.
84’: March crossed the ball low into the box and Mina blocked it.
85’: Veltman crosses the ball into the area and Pickford catches the cross.
87’: Trossard had a shot and it was blocked by Mina again.
89’: Important tackle by Veltman after a counter attack after Brighton’s short corner was intercepted.

90+2’: GOAL! Bissouma has scored a wonderful goal. He controls the ball with his chest and hits it excellently. He scores a volley. What a goal. 4-2.
FULL-TIME: Everton dominated the game and were clinical. Brighton grew into the game second half but it was too late after the 4th goal went in. Unstoppable from Everton. James Rodriguez was my man of the match with 2 goals and 1 assist.
