3:30pm: Chelsea get us underway.
3:32pm: Good chance for Chelsea as Mount shapes up for a volley but it is blocked.
3:36pm: Reece James shot but he hit it with the outside of the boot and it went wide.
3:37pm: Burn plays it over the top and Maupay collected. He laid it off for Alzate who dribbled and his shot went off a Chelsea defender.
3:40pm: James put a ball into the box but it’s out by Dunk.
3:41pm: GOAL! Azpilicueta taps it in after Brighton loose out on two duels in the box. 1-0 to Chelsea in a clever move by the side.
3:44pm: Good move by Brighton, slowly starting to wake up.
3:46pm: Lovely move by Chelsea, great link-up play between Willian and James.
3:49pm: Dan Burn is down with a head injury after a clash of heads with James who appears to be okay.
3:52pm: BRIGHTON SUBSTITUTION: Bernardo is coming on for Dan Burn who looks to have broken his collarbone.
3:54pm: Webster plays a through ball to Trossard who crosses it in but Kepa catches it.
3:55pm: Chelsea pretty much controlling the game at this point. They are very calm in their possession and appear to be in no rush to create anything.
3:56pm: Bissouma gives away a free kick.
3:58pm: Montoya gives the ball away and Chelsea had a chance. Dunk blocked Abraham’s shot.
4:00pm: Free kick for Brighton.
4:02pm: Bernardo and Trossard are linking up well on the left hand side.

4:08pm: Free kick for Brighton. Jorginho was lucky to escape a yellow for his challenge on Alzate.
4:11pm: Chelsea are good with their pressure, sticking to Mooy tightly and not allowing him the space to do what he does.
4:14pm: Great save from Kepa. Trossard played it to Maupay who played it back to him. He hit it and Kepa saved it with a steady hand. Montoya shot the rebound but couldn’t keep it down.
4:16pm: Good period of play by Brighton.

4:17pm: Pulisic shot but it went wide.
4:19pm: HALF-TIME: Chelsea had a good first half. They were good in possession and took their chances. Brighton were poor. Their passing was sloppy at times and they didn’t have the final details. The goal went in from a set-piece, therefore Graham Potter will be disappointed after losing two duels. Brighton were starting to wake up in the final ten minutes which is a positive sign for the second half. Chelsea were a good side, they were playing through Brighton and stopped Brighton’s creative presence through Mooy. Burn was forced off due to injury with his arm strapped in his shirt, could potentially have broken his collarbone by the looks of it. Azpilicueta scored pleasing tap-in and there were glimpses of more from Chelsea.

5:13pm: WHAT A GOAL! JAHANBAKHSH SCORES A BICYCLE KICK AND I’M SPEECHLESS. What a goal! That has to be goal of the weekend, wow.

5:18pm: How did Kepa save that? Jahanbakhsh rolled it towards Maupay who shot but Kepa saved it.

5:24pm: FULL-TIME: What a game. Kepa is my man of the match, without him Brighton would’ve won this game. He kept out Trossard and Connolly which were struck well by the strikers. Jahanbakhsh’s goal was stunning, I’m still in shock that that’s happened. What a goal. Honestly, still speechless. That’s one of the best goals we will ever see at the Amex. Credit to Chelsea as well, they fought well but no one keeps a goal like that out.
